I have worked in Oral Surgery for 10 years now. I graduated from the IPFW Dental Assisting Program and became a CDA in 2013. I love Oral Surgery because of the variety of procedures that can be done on a daily basis so you’re learning and observing new things every day. I love taking care of the patients as well and making them feel comfortable and at home in our office. I am excited to work with Dr. Ruckman and his team to provide great patient care. I am married to my husband Jordan and we have three children. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside in the sunshine, baking, and exercising.

I graduated from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Dental Assisting Program in 2017. I have had a passion for oral surgery since before graduation, and I have been with Dr. Ruckman since 2018. I am a Certified Dental Assistant, member of ADAA, DANB certified, DAANCE certified, CPR certified, and I have my license in Radiology. I love meeting new patients and helping everyone to have a positive, comfortable dental experience. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband Andrew, and our Shih Tzu’s Norman & Henry. In my free time I am a huge Bravo Fan! My favorites are any of the Real Housewives franchises.

I have worked in oral surgery for 35 years. I followed in my mom’s footsteps and she taught me everything I know. I have a passion for oral surgery and taking care of patients. I have met many wonderful people over the years because of my job. My goal is to make our patients experience a good one. Ruckman Oral Surgery is such a family environment. We truly are a great team together and hopefully that shows through to our patients. Outside of work I have 3 amazing kids, Maddy, Randy, and Paige, a great son-in-law Terry, and I am Grammy to my sweet grandchildren, Wilder and Ileen.

I have been in the dental field for over 13 yrs. My husband and I moved to Fort Wayne in 2022. I have been apart of this great team since April of 2022. I enjoy taking care of each patient and making sure they have the best possible care! I love the walking/hiking trails in the greater Fort Wayne area!

As a Fort Wayne native, I graduated from Bishop Dwenger (class of ’99) and in 2001 from Indiana/Purdue University as a certified dental assistant. I had observed in an oral surgery office and decided that was my true passion. The skill, art and dynamic of this specialty is what drew me into this career path. The variety of procedures keep it exciting everyday. I am very blessed to be working with an amazing group of people and a rockstar team at Ruckman Oral Surgery. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, kayaking, spur of the moment road trips, and vacations to the beach! I married my husband Jared in 2002 and we have 2 amazing kids, Brooke and Braedyn. Extended family includes our 2 dogs and a duck named Gary who is the neighborhood mascot!

I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana where I graduated from Bishop Luers HS. I then attended Ball State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Athlete training. I then went to Ivy Tech where I got an Associates degree in Paramedic Science. I have had the pleasure of working here at Ruckman Oral Surgery since the fall of 2023. When I am not here I spend by time working on an Ambulance as an Advance EMT. I love getting to work with patients every day and expand my knowledge in the dental field.

After serving in the Navy, I earned my Associates of Science from Hawaii Pacific University. In 2019 I moved to Georgia where I decided to expand my education to surgical assisting. Upon completion of my surgical degree program, I began working for an orthopedic and neurosurgical practice in southwest Georgia. I remained there for 4 years before relocating to my husband’s hometown of Fort Wayne in the summer of 2024, following his retirement from the military. I am very happy about my switch from orthopedic to maxillofacial surgery, especially the patient care that goes hand-and-hand with the rewarding field of dental surgery. I am board certified through NBSTSA, as well as an active member of ADAA, and AST. My husband and I have three awesome children, and a labrador retriever who all love new adventures! In my free time, I enjoy sculpting, drawing, exploring beautiful new places, and camping with my family and dog.

I recently graduated from Indiana University Fort Wayne in May of 2024 as a certified Dental Assistant. I deeply enjoy learning about oral surgery and am very excited about my future in dentistry. In my free time I enjoy visiting my brother and sister at Purdue Lafayette and spending time with my family cousins.

My name is Laura, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Ruckman Oral Surgery and Implant Center team. For over two decades, I’ve been combining my passion for oral surgery with my commitment to family. My husband and I have been married for 23 wonderful years, and I’m incredibly proud of my two daughters, who are currently students at PFW and IFW. My journey in oral surgery began in 2002, after graduating from IPFW with my CDA. I immediately immersed myself in the field, joining an oral surgery practice and earning my AAOMS (DANCE) certification in 2004. This experience solidified my dedication to the transformative power of oral surgery. I find immense satisfaction in the wide array of procedures we offer, each designed to enhance our patients’ quality of life. However, it’s the “All-on-Four” implant procedure that truly captivates me. Witnessing the remarkable transformation—from compromised dental health and the inability to chew properly, to a confident smile and fully restored chewing function—is deeply rewarding. It’s a privilege to help patients regain their oral health and, consequently, their confidence and overall well-being. I look forward to continuing this vital work at Ruckman Oral Surgery and Implant Center.

I really enjoy being part of the Ruckman Oral surgery team. I have worked here since the beginning in 2017. Being in the front office allows me to meet and interact with each of the patients on a daily basis. My goal is to make sure that each patient’s treatment is a pleasant experience from that initial first phone call all the way thru the end of their treatment. I grew up in NW, Indiana and graduated from Purdue University. I currently live in Leo with my husband and 3 children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I was born and raised in Logansport, IN, where I graduated from Logansport High School. After high school I moved to Fort Wayne & got back into the dental field. I love meeting new patients and helping them with any questions they may have. I am married to my husband, Dillon. Now I’m busy chasing around our sons, Coby and Cooper and daughter, Kennedy. I love to travel and spend time with my family!

I have worked in dentistry since 1997 with experience from clinical to front office. I have found my passion to be insurance and accounts receivables. My goal is to ensure all patients have their insurance needs taken care of without the stress of dealing with the insurance company. In my spare time I enjoy taking vacations with my 4 children.

I have been in the dental field since 2019. I have been with Ruckman Oral Surgery since March of 2022, and I am eager to learn and grow with our team. I have discovered my most favorite duty in a dental office is insurance. My goal is to help patients get their deserved insurance benefits in a timely manner. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son, Richie.
