Dr. Emma Meyer, DDS

 

Dr. Emma Meyer is a native of Decatur, IN. She attended Bellmont High School and went on to graduate from Purdue University and Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in Animal science and a master’s degree in Biology, respectively. 

She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with highest distinction. She was the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) dental student of the year award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. 

She completed her residency with Indiana University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Riley Children’s Hospital, University, Eskenazi, Methodist, and St. Vincent’s in Indianapolis. She has been proud to be in Indiana throughout her training and is excited to return closer to home to continue caring for patients in and around Indiana. 

Dr. Meyer enjoys all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She has particular interest in implants, pathology, virtual surgical planning, orthognathic surgery, pediatrics, and cosmetics.

She is going the extra mile and becoming board certified, which takes time after residency to do so. She is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAMOS), American Dental Association (ADA), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society (IKDDS). 

Dr. Meyer and her husband, a Ft. Wayne native, have an adorable daughter and son. Dr. Meyer’s interests outside of oral surgery are gardening, reading, golfing, exercising, and making memories with family and friends.
